FINAL VICTORY FOR GHL AS SUPREME COURT RULES AGAINST FIRST BANK





The Supreme Court has ruled that the vessel of General Hydrocarbons Limited seized by the First Bank PLC be released forthwith, thereby setting aside the decisions of the appeal Court.

According to the news monitored on Arise News in Lagos on Friday, Justice Abba Aji, reading the lead judgment on behalf of his learned brother judges set aside the court of appeal ruling which had earlier uphold the ruling of the Federal High Court backing the seizures.

Recall that GHL and First Bank has been locked up in litigation over the facility procured by the former from the latter.
