AIG ZONE 2 PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO FLAG OFFICER COMMANDING, WESTERN NAVAL COMMAND, LAGOS





 
The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 headquarters, Lagos, AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, on 24th April, 2026, paid a courtesy visit to the Flag Officer Commanding, Western Naval Command, Naval Base, Apapa, Lagos, Rear Admiral AA Mustapha to strengthen synergy and operational collaboration in the coastal and maritime domain.
 
The AIG, accompanied by members of his management team, emphasized during the visit the importance of sustained and productive collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigerian Navy, particularly in the area of intelligence sharing, maritime security and joint operational engagements. He also highlighted the significant economic importance of the maritime domain to the nation.



 
In his response, Rear Admiral Mustapha appreciated the visit and called for deeper operational collaboration. He assured the Command’s readiness to sustain its partnership with the Nigeria Police Force in ensuring peace, stability and security within the region.
 
The visit highlights the commitment of Zone 2 Command to strengthening strategic partnership with other security agencies in the collective pursuit of a safer and more secure society.
