APC Begins Convention Build Up

 

 

 

 


Across Nigeria on Wednesday, the All Progressives Congress conducted zonal congresses to elect executives ahead of its national convention in Abuja.

 

Party members across the six geopolitical zones participated, with leaders declaring support for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 election.

 

The exercises, held in different regions, produced both new and returning officials through consensus and voice votes.

 

Governors, lawmakers, and party figures attended in large numbers, describing the process as smooth and aimed at strengthening unity within the party structure.

 

In the South-West, South-South, South-East, and northern zones, key leaders emerged to steer party affairs at regional levels.

 

Party stakeholders said the congresses show readiness for the national convention scheduled for March 27 and 28 in Abuja.

 

Leaders also pledged to mobilise strong support for Tinubu in the next election, stressing unity and grassroots organisation.

 

The outcome of the zonal polls is expected to shape strategies as the party prepares for its national gathering and future campaigns.

Force CID Annex Alagbon Committed To Unraveling Viral Egbeda Incident, Assures Victims, Nigerians of Swift Justice, Restored Fund As Investigation Commences By our correspondence  The Nigeria Police, Force CID Annex, Alagbon, Lagos has reacted to viral online news report making the rounds about some officers under its watch who were allegedly involved in human rights violation of a Nigerian and NGN 2 million extortion from the same person. The person's victimization story was published on Oni Foto Facebook page and also circulated by the Take It Back movement on Twitter.
