The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 headquarters, AIG Adegoke M. Fayoade, mni, psc, mnim, fisn, received the Zonal commander, Nigeria Immigration Service, Zone A, Ikeja, Assistant Comptroller General of Immigration ACG Adamu Mohammed, psc, pcc on a courtesy visit at the Zone 2 command headquarters, Onikan, Lagos to formally familiarize with the zonal command and seek continuous synergy and active collaboration with the police. 
While seeking cooperation and support from the police in intelligence sharing, ACG Mohammed Adamu stated that the visit is to familiarize with the Zonal command, operationally synergize more with the police especially on areas that borders on strengthening national security and ensuring a safer community, noting that the Nigeria Immigration Service has benefitted from this synergy over the years.
AIG Adegoke M. Fayoade, mni, psc, welcomed the Zone A commander to a warm reception and noted that the Police will collaborate with the Nigeria Immigration Service to tackle the security challenges facing the country. The AIG also stated that effective collaboration in the area of intelligence sharing and joint operations will engender peace and security in the country.

Force CID Annex Alagbon Committed To Unraveling Viral Egbeda Incident, Assures Victims, Nigerians of Swift Justice, Restored Fund As Investigation Commences By our correspondence  The Nigeria Police, Force CID Annex, Alagbon, Lagos has reacted to viral online news report making the rounds about some officers under its watch who were allegedly involved in human rights violation of a Nigerian and NGN 2 million extortion from the same person. The person's victimization story was published on Oni Foto Facebook page and also circulated by the Take It Back movement on Twitter. The victim accused the officers of physically assaulting him and teargassing his wife who was also present at the incident.
