AIG ADEGOKE HOLDS SECURITY MEETING WITH COMMAND CPs AHEAD OF EMBER MONTHS




The Assistant Inspector General of Police, Zone 2 Command, *AIG Adegoke M. Fayoade* on Wednesday, 11th September 2025, convened a high-level security meeting with *CP Lanre Ogunlowo* of Ogun State Command, *CP Moshood Jimoh* of Lagos State Command, along with their respective Deputy Commissioners of Police in charge of Operations.

The meeting focused on strengthening security measures in anticipation of the heightened activities typically associated with the ember months. Key areas of concern include commercial centers, Religious worship centers, schools, highways, motor parks, social hubs, etc.
 
AIG Fayoade emphasized the importance of inter-agency collaboration, community engagement, continuous personnel training on the responsible use of firearms, and strict adherence to the rule of law.

The Zone 2 Command assures residents of robust and effective security coverage during and beyond the ember months.

Force CID Annex Alagbon Committed To Unraveling Viral Egbeda Incident, Assures Victims, Nigerians of Swift Justice, Restored Fund As Investigation Commences By our correspondence  The Nigeria Police, Force CID Annex, Alagbon, Lagos has reacted to viral online news report making the rounds about some officers under its watch who were allegedly involved in human rights violation of a Nigerian and NGN 2 million extortion from the same person. The person's victimization story was published on Oni Foto Facebook page and also circulated by the Take It Back movement on Twitter.
