Nigeria Publishers report that the just concluded coronation of Oba Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Lawal was held in grand style.  HRM Oba Babatunde Ogunlaja, the Paramount Ruler Of ODO Nofirija Kingdom Epe Division was physical present to grace the occasion amongst other top dignitaries. 

Infact Alimosho Local Government Area was agog with the ecstatic news of the coronation that attracted de creme de la creme in the society to grace the occasion. 

Chief Wasiu Ayinde was on ground to perform and he thrilled the mammoth crowd with an ecstatic performance. 

There were other traditional and cultural displays to spice up the occasion. 



Different markets associations, NGOs, Society clubs, Professional bodies, career groups, etc to mention but a few graced the occasion. 


Symbolically the Olofin belt was one of the visible attractions of the royal ceremony, a sports competition initiative to encourage talents discovery among the youths and enhance youth development. 



 HRM Oba Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Lawal has begun to produce first class brains who can hold their heads high amongst their peers anywhere in the world. 



Driven by a strong drive for excellence, Oba Ibrahim is gradually becoming a father of many intellectuals and A-list students who have pledged total submission to his mentorship. 

The Youth Liberation Forum YLF, is also an outfit by Oba Ibrahim that has contributed immensely in the lives of Young people through distribution of free jamb forms, free lectures, scholarships etc to mention but a few. This noble cause advocated by the dynamic Traditional ruler is gradually becoming a movement. 


This Movement and the YLF has the potential to actualize the dream of a “Nigeria Beyond Isheri Olofin Kingdom”.




“Nigeria is the Pivot on which the Fortunes of Africa turns”, said President Bill Clinton of the United.




Africa in this context includes Africans in Diaspora and Lovers of Africa anywhere in the world. “Africa is waiting for Nigeria” Nelson Mandela President of South Africa once said. 




All these calls on Nigeria is apt because to whom much is given, much is expected.



 Given her endless Natural and very Dynamic Human Resources. Nigeria the Heartland of the Motherland is Calling.




Oba Ibrahim Olasunkanmi has keyed into this call by deliberately focusing on empowering the youths to harness their potentials, thereby making them better citizens of Nigeria. One of such is Erinfolami Omowunmi Rofiat, 2023/2024 graduating set with a CPGA of 4.61 from the department of Education management, Faculty of Education. 
Others who are currently in Universities with a first class CPGA includes Olayemi Oluwagbemisola, Adediji Desmond etc to mention but a few. 
it's important to note that Kabiyesi is not only focusing on the indigenes of the Isheri Olofin Kingdom but on any youth who's ready to pursue excellence at all costs regardless of religious beliefs or ethnicity












In his appreciation, Oba Ibrahim thanked everyone present. He mostly appreciated God for giving him the rare privilege to serve the good people of the ancient Isheri Olofin Kingdom. 



Oba Ibrahim also prayed for Nigeria for peace and progress under the leadership of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu especially for the Spirit of Excellence in leading the great people of Nigeria. He also appreciated the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu for his approval of his appointment as Oba Of Isheri Olofin Kingdom and his immense support during his coronation. 

He emphasized the need for Traditional institutions to become more intentional in community development, crime reduction, youth empowerment, strategic collaboration and nation building. 

Most of the security agencies from the army, Nigeria Police Force, FRSC, NSCDC, LASTMA, LSNC, bouncers etc were all on ground to ensure maximum security and a hitch free royal ceremony. 


Lots of goodwill messages came in from all over the world from Senior Traditional Kings, Senators, Distinguished Nigerians, Business Moguls, Religious leaders, Entertainment icons, celebrities etc. 


The colorful event ended with so much glitz and glamour that some of the people who spoke with journalists wished it lasted longer than a day. 


It was really a mammoth crowd with thousands of attendees.
