Oba of Isheri Olofin Kingdom, Alimosho-Lagos, HRM Oba Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Lawal Bello has urged all traditional rulers to be more intentional in caring for the youths in their communities. 
According to him, "Youths are always prone to crime because of their energy and potentials, so we need to impact them to channel their energy into positive things. We must invest in them through trainings and skills acquisition. For example, my community sponsored 6 youths to attend the UNIPGC masterclass and will be receiving their certificates today", he remarked. 


This important message was passed across at the just concluded 14th edition of Pan African Leadership Symposium and Honors PALESH NIGERIA 2025 held recently at the prestigious Nigeria Institute Of International Affairs, Victoria Island Lagos. 




The symposium, organized by the United Nations International Peace and Governance Council UNIPGC, under the theme “Adaptive Leadership and Alternative Dispute Resolution Mechanisms for Consolidating Peaceful Coexistence in Africa,” attracted prominent figures including a representative of Burkina Faso’s President Ibrahim Traore, Cote d’Ivoire presidential candidate Ousmane Camara, Ambassador Carlos Sousa Secretary General of UNIPGC, Canada, Dr. Jonathan (UNIPGC 2nd global president and permanent representative to the United Nations), Professor Roland Otaru, etc to mention but a few.

The event included the induction of UNIPGC council members, lectures, awards presentations, and cultural displays.

It was a very memorable event and was well attended by very distinguished personalities from different parts of Africa.

There was a dinner and awards night alongside a boat cruise for the eminent personalities where Oba Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Lawal Bello was honored amongst other dignitaries from different parts of the world.
